Samson Go Mic Mobile
This is a project that I have been involved with from conception to production to launch. It started when we were looking at new opportunities in the wireless microphone category and I brought up the idea of making a system that could record directly into a smartphone. At the time, there was no professional wireless solution, only Bluetooth microphones that had too much latency to use the phone for live video. The result was the Samson Go Mic Mobile.
Go Mic Mobile Advertorial
Because we were entering a burgeoning market of professional-quality video content being created on smartphones, we found that many potential users didn't have a high-level understanding of audio technology, so I created advertorials.
Mobile Journalism Ad
Around the same time that Go Mic Mobile was released, there was a shift in the way news was reported. Journalists were now being asked to capture content on their own. This quickly created a user base that never had to worry about equipment and technology. This ad was created with input from journalists who now called themselves mobile journalists.

The term "content creator" was just beginning to enter the lexicon. The goal of this product video was to demonstrate how easy it is to create video using a smartphone and Go Mic Mobile.
